Changes in Admissions Criteria

All changes to admissions criteria must be publicized one year prior to implementation.

1. School curriculum committee approves changes in admission criteria

The following two items typically are done within 30-60 days

2. School submits a memo and request for changes to admission criteria to Vice President for Academic, Faculty and Student Affairs

3. Vice President for Academic, Faculty and Student Affairs submits request for changes to admission criteria to UTS Office of Health Affairs. The UTS Office of Health Affairs determines significance of changes.

Is this a significant change?

Board of Regents Approval; typically takes 4-9 months

Courtesy notification sent to SACSCOC

UTS Office of Health Affairs approves change; typically takes 60 days

Courtesy notification sent to SACSCOC
