Courseleaf PeopleSoft Step: Bridging Courses

This article explains how to bridge courses in PeopleSoft.

Courseleaf sends notification when courses are at the PeopleSoft step. The email comes from: [email protected]

NAVIGATION: CourseLeaf Integration >  CourseLeaf Catalog Update

Select "Fetch List"

Select the course you would like to bridge and click "Preview"

Review the changes before bridging the course. Make sure that all of the course changes are listed. If the changes are not listed, update the Course Catalog manually. Refer to the "Processing Course Modification Forms (CIM Courses) in PeopleSoft" article to update the Course Catalog manually.

Once the changes have been reviewed, select "Commit Changes"

At this point, the Interface Status should read "Successful". If it does not, troubleshoot with leadership.

Once courses have been bridged, it takes a night for the system to update. You should always check to make sure courses have synced properly the next day.

Courses that are "not found" in the bridge doesn't necessarily indicate an error, but can also mean that there is nothing to update. However, to diagnose errors when a course is not found, using the "Preview Bridge" link at the bottom of the CIM form can help solve potential issues.

Avoid bridging multiple changes/forms for a single course. Instead wait until it syncs before making additional changes. This will ensure duplicate courses/ID's are not created in PeopleSoft Course Catalog.
