Accessing and Searching the Schedule of Classes

'Maintain Schedule of Classes' in My Student Center is used by staff and faculty to update the offerings of classes that students can take in a particular term.

1. Log into My Student Center

For additional information on how to log into My Student Center, reference How to Log into My Student Center

2.1. Option 1: Access Maintain Schedule of Classes via the Faculty Center tile.

2.2. Option 2: Using the Menu, go to Curriculum Management > Schedule of Classes > Maintain Schedule of Classes

3. Enter a Term

Use the look up icon to assist you

4. Optional: Enter in a Subject Area and/or Catalog Number

Doing a blank search just by term only is a great way to see all the classes that are currently available for student registration during that term! You can only search for classes that you have access to modify/view.

6. If Needed: Select the specific class from the Search Results

If your search would only bring up one option, you will not see any Search Results. Instead, clicking Search will take you straight into the class record.

7. Within the class record, note that classes may have multiple sections

Multiple class sections can be either 1) an other offering of the class, usually because multiple classes are being offered at different times/dates/locations, being given to a different set of students, is online vs in-person vs audit, etc, or 2) multiple components of the same class, such as a class having a lecture and lab component, or a lecture and conference component. For classes with multiple components, when a student enrolls into the enrollment component, they are automatically enrolled into the other components.
